The Communist doctrine stresses the necessity for communism to be organized on military lines and for the use of force by the "workers" in their struggle for power. In 1900 Lenin wrote "When we have detachments of revolutionary workers, specially prepared by long training, no police will be able to master them... what we need is military organization". Again in 1901 : "In principle we cannot renounce terrorism.
